We welcome corrections. Home costs move with labor rates, material prices, and local codes, so a number that was right last year can be wrong today — and we would rather fix it than defend it.
Reach the editor at shnlislam@gmail.com. For a correction, include the figure you are questioning and the source for the number you believe is right.
Corrections policy
If a figure on this site looks wrong, send us the correct number along with its source — a published price list, a survey, a manufacturer page, or a written quote you received. We check every correction against a published source before changing a guide, and we update the guide when the evidence supports it.
Corrections backed by a source are always reviewed. We do not change a number on the basis of a single unverified quote, because one quote is one data point, not a market rate.
Questions and suggestions
We also welcome questions about a guide and suggestions for jobs we have not covered yet. If a guide left out a cost that mattered to your project, telling us about it helps the next homeowner who reads it.
We are a small editorial publication, not a contractor or a sales desk, so we cannot quote your job, book a visit, or recommend a specific company in your area. For a price on your home, get a written quote from a licensed local professional.
